Uncontained Living has developed an award winning environmentally friendly housing solution that brings a fresh take on the way we design our homes.
These 1 to 3 bedroom units exemplify environmentally friendly living by converting solar power into energy, recycling rainwater, using environmentally friendly building materials and expressing minimal impact on the environment.
Not having to connect to the energy grid and the minimal footprint it leaves on the environment; has enabled the placement of the units in locations that were previously impossible.
Addressing the critical problems...
Uncontained Living’s units demonstrate why and how housing solutions need not come at the expense of the environment – an unacceptable byproduct of current building practices - while contributing to the much needed economic growth and job creation in South Africa.
Uniquely Uncontained...
Our unique product offering reinforces Uncontained Living's intention on giving South Africa a ‘face’ and personality to associate energy sustainable housing practices with.
There is currently a sense of ambiguity surrounding energy sustainable housing and Uncontained Living will serve to clarify this by allowing all to see that South Africa’s home-bred innovations can compete against the best the world has to offer.
Uncontained Living’s irrepressible co-founder Justin Beswick selected for Brightest Young Minds 2010.
